Tested cremello, as sweet as can be, absolutely true to type, PROVEN and well bred...he is a true pleasure to own. He is also exceptionally well bred.
'Pinky' as we call him is that placid an elderly lady used to keep him as a driving cob.

Coates Intense Gold aka Fortune
Here is a stallion who has exceeded our every expectation. He is absolutely breathtaking. Conformation, colour, temperament and talent...this stallion has it all. At 6 years old and 14.3hh he is everything a cob should be. He is broken to drive and sweet and kind. When he has been in with mares he has been seen cleaning the foals...talk about a modern man! He is also the much desireable golden palomino (he is light in the Winter and goes a beautiful rich dappled palomino in Summer).

The Property
The Property is an exceptional PROVEN dapple grey stallion.
He is as 'tight' as they come with his short back, apple rump, long arched neck, abundance of feather (oiled in these pictures - clean pictures will follow), very good mane and tail, good bone and perfect head and tiny tipped ears.
The Property has produced outstanding stock every time and doesn't even need the best of mares. It is of no surprise that he is so generous to his offspring as quality is stamped right the way through his bloodline, going back generations.

Coates Travellin' Man
Travellin' Man is another Coates up and coming black/brown and white stallion prospect. At only 3 years old he is everything a gypsy cob should be and more. Aswell as his faultless conformation 'Travellin Man' has a very sweet yet confident temperament and the best bloodlines you could wish for.
Travellin' Man is the half brother to Reggae (same Father who goes back to Cristie and Billy Boy). This also makes him the same bloodline as Oliver.

Coates Joker DNA verified Son of Chequerdy
Presenting 'The Joker'. At only coming 6 years old 'Coates Joker' already has an impressive portfolio with stock in the USA, UK and Ireland. The Sire to quality fillies such as 'Coates Lucky Heather', 'Angel Filly' and 'Gypsy Lace' and colts such as 'Clononeen Blue Bear' he is worth his weight in gold.
Once again this is a perfect example of quality bloodlines producing quality offspring. Joker's Father is the famous 'Chequerdy Horse' (DNA verified) and his Mother is a quality heavy black and white mare.
Joker is a smaller stallion at around 13.3hh. He is incredibly stout and 'tight' in type (short back etc) with lots of mane, forelock, tail and feather. He has a beautiful pint sized, quality head, small ears short back, long arched neck, and kind temperament.
Joker's height is perfect for the majority of mares particularly those lacking on type as he is VERY generous to his offspring and settles mares very easily. Joker covers in hand or will run with his mares.

Reggae Rock Steady
Reggae Rock Steady also known as Pretty Boy! Reggae is one of the best 2 year old colts (born on Mothers day 2006) in the UK at the moment. Yes, indeed a bold statement but top breeders are queing up to buy him and breed with him. He has been to one fair so far and was the centre of the attention amongst the top UK breeders AND the cameraman who films the videos! Reggae has EVERYTHING the breed is about here in the UK and Ireland at the moment. The best head you could put on a cob, tiny ears, a short back, apple rump, quality, flat bone, straight silky feather, bloodlines, temperament...etc etc etc!!!
Reggae's bloodline is very similar to Oliver as they both go back to Billy Boy and Christie horse and if Reggae produces anything like Oliver we will be very happy :-)

Coates Oliver
Oliver is a eight year old black stallion who has all of the qualities of a LEGENDARY gypsy cob. Oliver stands at 14.1hh.
Oliver has an more than his fair share of feather, mane and tail, good bone, outstanding action and an outstanding temperament. Oliver has already bred some superb foals although this was only to be expected as he is descended from the finest gypsy cobs.
Mother - The White Faced Mare - a black and white mare who was mostly white. This mare was also known as The Moulden bred mare as it was the Moulden family who bred her. She goes back to horses such as The Old Paddy Horse, The Roadwseeper, Lob, The Eagle Mare and various top quality horses in the Conners line.
Father - The Paleface Horse (black and white but had a white face) - he was by The Horse Who Broke His Back. The Horse Who Broke His Back was by Billy Boy aka Cristie who was by Lob.
Oliver's brothers (same Mum) are the well known 'Dooley Horse' and 'Mosey'. Three black colts were bred 'on the trot' and Oliver was the last one! All of these three colts have made famous stallions so clearly Oliver was not a lucky throw he is a result of QUALITY BACK BREEDING.

New Kid on The Block
Up and coming 3 year old colt (born 11th Jan 2006) known as 'The Block'. Out of Gypsy Girl mare and by Rooster's stallion.
This impressive stallion prospect stands at 12.2hh, has a short back, flat bone, a huge thick tail that reaches the floor, a long 'lucky' moustache (!)and plenty of silky feather
